This auction is for An Antique Porthole, 12 1/4″. This Porthole was taken from a real ship wreak, it has markings on it: ” 8″ and “M” crossed with a curve, you can see it on the pictures. It has 8 drilled holes and to hings pins, both working. The porthole itself is 12 1/ 4″ and the glass in it is 9″ Dia. this iteam was pick up in 1989 on a trip my father (dennis fimple actor) that he made to the island of angoon alaska, one of the islands in the gulf of alaska. it has been painted over but it is part bronze and some kind of metal (unknown). there are some scracths on the glass, and the glass is orangaL. it weighs 10 pounds. i have not taken any of the paint off, thats up to the buyer to … [more]
