1884 SETH THOMAS BRASS SHIP BOTTOM BELL NAUTICAL CLOCK This is a ca. 1884 Seth Thomas Ship’s Bell clock as described in Tran Duy Ly Seth Thomas Book Volume 2 page 756. This clock is also referred to as an outside bell or bottom bell clock. Height is 10 1/2 inches and the outer diameter of the bezel is 7 inches and it is about 3 1/2 inches deep. The Movement strikes the ship’s bells and the sequence can easily be advanced by simply depressing the lever on the left side of the dial.
