FINE ADMIRALTY ISLANDS SPEAR. COLLECTED 1905 BY MARTIN VOIGT. Originating from the Admiralty Islands, offered is a fine incised spear that was collected by German Postmaster Martin Voigt in 1905. Voigt was sent by the German government to New Guinea in 1902 to serve as Postmaster. His duties extended over the entire colony of mainland New Guinea and surrounding islands.
